Cradle Mountain's wildlife comes alive after dark and the best way to see our furry friends is on a night spotlighting tour. The Cradle Mountain - Lake St. Clair National Park is one of the most popular natural areas in Tasmania. Although it's not a requirement to pre-book all of your activities, we certainly recommend it in order to avoid the disappointment of tours and activities being full. Massage services in The Retreat must be pre-booked.

Water levels affect canyoning tours and naturally, weather conditions affect scenic flights. All other tours may be cancelled due to very poor weather conditions such as snow.

The weather in Tasmania's alpine areas can change quickly at any time of the year. It's not unusual to see snow on the peaks in summer and you may experience days of blue sky in winter. We suggest bringing multiple layers, including a jacket and beanie. Exposure to the sun is harsh in alpine areas and a hat and sunscreen are advised.

The 'Night spotting in the park, after dark' collects you from Cradle Mountain Hotel. All other activities require you to provide your own transportation to their respective departure points.
